Sifnos has a long tradition in pottery and cooking, as it is the birthplace of Nikos Tselementes.

Following the announcement of the Panhellenic Seamen's Federation for strike action on 1/5/2024, Aegean Sea Lines informs that the departure of the ferry Anemos will take place on Tuesday 30/4/2024 at 23:55 (before the start of the strike) according to the following table.
23/04/2024 - DISCOUNT FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS DURING THE EASTER PERIOD
AEGEAN SEA LINES announces a 50% discount to substitute teachers of primary and secondary education, as well as their vehicles (cars and bicycles), who will travel from/to Piraeus with our ship ANEMOS. The discounts will be valid for the period from 26/4/2024 to 12/05/2024.
The discount is provided by our local central port agencies upon presentation of the decision of the Ministry of Education stating their employment and their Police Identity Card.
05/04/2024 - ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING ROUTE 7/4
AEGEAN SEA LINES informs you that due to the adverse weather conditions that will prevail from midnight on Sunday 07/04/2023, the route of the ferry Anemos N.P. 12849 from Kavala will be operated with departure time 12:00 instead of 16:30.
